Too much Tabasco sauce

The other day, my mom cooked some shrimp in butter sauce. She usually puts hot sauce to make it spicy, but for some reason, she didn't this time. So, I took out the Tabasco sauce and just randomly put in on some shrimp. At first, the spice was bearable, but after a few more bites, my mouth was (literally) scorched!!! I swear, my lips were chapped and bleeding, and a whole water bottle couldn't quench my thirst.

Lesson of the day: Measure the hot sauce.
